Challenge

We are tasked with raising the profile of Scotland as a place to do business on behalf of Scottish Development International (SDI), the Scottish Government’s agency for inward investment and internationalisation. This involved working across the UK, Germany, France and other emerging markets in EMEA.

Solution

We developed the theme of “Knowledge as a Commodity” which harnesses Scotland’s position as a place of learning and innovation. This is central to our messaging across the six priority industry sectors we promote.

This has helped bring together the full range of PR solutions including reputation management and profile raising tactics such as media briefings, the co-ordination of a UK and European press contingent at Scotland’s first Global Financial Services Week, roundtable discussions and proactive media relations.
